Tyger Valley Shopping Centre has launched a new social media campaign that invites shoppers to explore the mall in search of a cardboard cut out character named The Adventurer. The incentive? A chance to win their share of prizes worth R30 000!
This campaign is designed to build excitement around the Adventure Experience Expo taking place from 31 October to 3 November. A first for Tyger Valley, this Expo is aimed at adrenaline junkies and everyone who enjoys the great outdoors – from sporting enthusiasts to holidaymakers.
Driven by a competition, the campaign uses a combined digital and on-site entry mechanism to increase Tyger Valley’s social media footprint and bring more people into the centre during the Expo period.
How it works:
Shoppers must visit Tyger Valley and have their photo taken with The Adventurer cut out (by placing their faces through the porthole).
Photos can be uploaded to the Tyger Valley Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page.
To complete the entry process, photos must be uploaded with the hashtag #AdventureExperience and @Tygervalley.
There is no limit to the number of times that people can enter – which means the more photos that shoppers upload, the better their chances are of winning.
The competition closes on 3 November 2013.
