Vital Health Foods asked kri8it to develop an HTML5 game that connected their brand to the 2012 Olympics. Using a swimming theme to tie in with Vital’s brand ambassador, Paralympic swimmer Natalie Du Toit, we created a game that was easy to grasp yet still retained an addictive, try-again element. We also developed a WordPress website to host the game and incentivised game-play by running a ‘submit your score’ competition. Users could compare their scores against friends via a Facebook app that we built and integrated into the website. The campaign was extremely successful with the site getting several thousand hits per day.
