This year, the Loeries 2014 is celebrating creativity that “affects”. This is the type of creativity that really resonates with people, despite the overload of information that they receive daily. It could impact them emotionally, offer a real solution to a challenge they face, or even change their perspective on a certain issue. If you have created something that has touched people’s lives in this way, then get your Loeries entry in! There’s a 10% discount on entries submitted before 14 April and a final deadline of 30 May 2014.
As you may know, entries are open to everyone in the brand communication industry in Africa and the Middle East, including marketers, agencies, designers, media owners and media agencies.
For every entry submitted this year, the Loeries will contribute R30.00 to the Creative Future Scholarship initiative, which assists learners from a disadvantaged background to study brand communication at a tertiary institution.
You can also now get your ticket for Loeries® Creative Week™ Cape Town, which takes place from 15 to 21 September. This has become an annual creative hub where over 4000 members of the brand communication industry can get together, network, and be inspired. While there are a range of ticket types available, general ticketholders will be able to attend the awards ceremonies, which are held on the Saturday and Sunday evenings, as well as gain access to other official Loerie functions, including the International Seminar of Creativity and the Channel O Party on Sunday. Apparently seats are limited, so book yours soon if you’re keen.
